'May I please start off saying that I have received such great care from the nurses when I stayed in overnight at the Nuffield. From the health care assistants and housekeepers to the doctors and nurses, they were all kind and friendly. They all made me feel cared for, looked after me and respected me. Thank you for all your help and professional skills for what you have done for me. It will now be a huge change to my life in a positive way (plus bring back my confidence)'
This is what one of our cosmetic patients (a nurse) said about us.
In 2013, we started to discuss all of our cosmetic surgery patients in a cosmetic surgery multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meeting. Every patient is discussed both before and after surgery as part of our care. This means that your case is discussed confidentially by our team to ensure that you receive the best care and outcome. We believe that our Cosmetic MDT meeting is a UK first and we have presented the value of this at the national BAPRAS (Bristish Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery) national scientific meeting.
Men and women seeking advice about cosmetic breast surgery are very welcome. We offer the full range of services including:
"Internal bra" with uplift or reduction
Breast enlargement (augmentation)
Breast reduction
Breast uplift (mastopexy)
Revision breast implant surgery for capsular contracture or implant rupture
Correction of breast asymmetry
Correction of nipple inversion
Surgery for male breast enlargement
If you are interested in breast enlargement, you can borrow some implants for a 'test-drive' to help you decide what size you would like to be. You will usually have the opportunity to talk with someone who has already undergone surgery.
For more information about breast implant surgery, you may wish to visit the NHS Choices website on Breast Implants, which the NHS invited Fiona Court to edit.
Please note that all surgery carries a risk, however small. As responsible surgeons, we always take great care to explain these risks in detail, so that individuals can make an informed decision about whether to proceed with surgery or not. We will not, at any time, ask or coerce you to book a procedure. It is very important that patients should be given time to make fully informed decisions about their health.
